Disposal
The dismissed material due to normal wear (air filters, transmission belts, etc.) and the packing
materials (plastic, wood, polystyrene, polyurethane, cardboard, staples, nails, etc.) must be kept out of
the reach of children for it might be dangerous for their health and it must be disposed of or recycled
correctly in the Authorized Centers in compliance with the procedures indicated by national and local
Standards in force.
Disconnection
The disconnection of the unit must be carried out under the supervision of a person in charge who had acquaintance with what described in
this manual at chapter "Residual risks".
Before carrying out the mechanical disconnection, if present,
recover
:
- the
cooling gas
, contained in the system connected to the direct-expansion battery, by means of special closed-circuit equipment
avoiding the dispersion in the atmosphere.
- the mixture of water with
antifreeze liquid
contained in the batteries, storing it in special containers.
