Startup
At every startup, always make sure of the perfect closing of all the inspection doors and of the opening
of the aeraulic circuit (gates, gratings, openings, etc.).
Checks to be carried out before and during the startup
Electric panel
At the first startup, check the correct tightening of clamps and the calibration of the heat protections.
Cell filters:
At the first startup, the pre-filters or cell filters must be always installed in order to keep
the site impurities that can be present in the aeraulic circuit.
All the types of high-efficiency filters must be installed in the unit at least after one
hour of working
What above is required in order to permit the cleaning of the air ducts from dust or residuals deposited during the mounting of the system, in
order to avoid the fast clogging or the damaging of the most expensive filters.
The cell filters can be installed on guides with coulisse motion or, in case of pre-filters, in special frames with spring clips.
In both cases, the cells must be put very close one to the other in order to avoid the infiltration of dirty air.
Floppy bag filters:
Check that the bags hung freely inside the space intended for them.
The wilting movement at fan stop and the stretching movement at fan startup, together with the weighting caused by the caught dust, cause
the easy deterioration of the coupling points of the bag to the frame.
In this case the filter must be always replaced even if it hasn't achieved yet its maximum clogging level
Rigid bag filters:
Check that seals are positioned correctly in order to avoid the infiltration of air.
Handle with care, for the filtering material is delicate, as it consists of paper with fiber glass.
Absolute filters:
Check the integrity of the seals and frame.
Put the fastening tie-rod in the correct position and lock the filter on the frame by pressing.
Activated carbon filters
Check the integrity of the seals and the correct positioning of cartridges or cells in the relevant
housings on the frame.
