Nozzle humidifiers:
When in use, every two weeks clean the water collection tank and the nozzle ramp.
If the nozzles do not atomize correctly, they must be cleaned by putting them in water mixed with descaler or replaced.
Humidification el./pump kit:
Cut off the water feeding and open the drain tap in order to empty the tank completely.
Take out the drilled sheet, used as filter for the collection of impurities on el./pump suction side and clean it by putting it in a bath of water
mixed with descaler and then brushing it before putting it onto place again.
Wash the tank inside and check the efficiency of the float tap. This operation must be carried out every two weeks of working or every time a
reduction of the humidifier efficiency is detected, due to the scales that close the filter and are caused by the particular hardness of water.
Atomized water humidifiers:
Carry out the cleaning of the water collection tank and the routine maintenance of component equipment every two weeks of working
following the attached instructions provided by the Manufacturer.
Network steam humidifiers:
Carry out the cleaning of the water collection tank as described above.
Steam humidifiers with immersed electrode generators:
Carry out the cleaning of the water collection tank according to procedures and times as described above.
Check the degree of scales in the boiler and in the immersed electrodes and if necessary replace them according to the procedures
described in the attached instruction manual provided by the Manufacturer.
Fans:
The fans with shaft supports consisting of open bearings require to be lubricated every 6 months approx. The fans with closed supports,
which are self-lubricating, require no maintenance operation up to the limit lasting of 20,000 hours of working but they too must be checked
every 6 months.
The deterioration of the bearings is signaled by the increase of noise and by their overheating with leakage of liquefied grease.
Transmissions:
Check the wear of the transmission belts and their correct stretch every 30 days of working approx.
To restore the stretch, operate by means of a normal wrench on the endless screw of the motor support belt-stretching saddle.
The procedures to check the correct stretch of the belt are indicated in paragraph "Checks of fan and transmission" in chapter "Startup".
We suggest to record the model of the installed belt and to keep always a spare belt.
