• Manual/Auto
(Button/key 6)
With the
Manual option selected, the measurement is do-
ne with the maximum time interval which cannot be edited.
Nonetheless, the measurement can be controlled manu-
ally using the Start, Stop, Pause and Reset buttons/keys.
With the
auto option selected, an individual time interval
can be entered in advance. Please use the button/key

for this (see below).
• Time
(Button/key 7)
This function is only available with the
Manual/auto
parameter (see above) set to the
auto
position using the
button/key 6 . Pressing the Time button/key, a new func-
tion layer is accessed showing buttons to enter the time
interval for the Dialnorm measurement:
(1) HOUR: counts up 1 hour
(2) HOUR-: counts down 1 hour
(3) MIN+:
counts up 1 minute
(4) MIN-: counts down 1 minute
(5) SEC+: counts up 1 second
(6) SEC-:
counts down 1 second
(7) Close: Terminates the selection and
returns you to the previous layer
With Manual selected with button/key 6 , the button/
key
7
(
Time
) is shown greyed out and the function is not
available.
• Start
(Button/key 1)
Selecting this function starts the Dialnorm measurement.
The colour of the displayed values changes to green.
• Stop
(Button/key 2)
Selecting this function ends the measurement. The colour
of the displayed values changes to yellow.
• Pause
(Button/key 3)
Selecting this function interrupts the measurement tem-
porarily. All previously recorded values are stored auto-
matically and the colour of the displayed values changes
to red. To restart and continue the measurement select
button/key

(see above).
• Reset
(Button/key 4)
This function resets the time counter.
• Channel Select
(Button/key 5)
Selecting this function opens a new layer in which you
can select the channels you want to include in a Dialnorm
measurement. Selecting the buttons/keys activates the
corresponding channels, selecting again deactivates them.
Activated channels are highlighted in yellow in the display.
(1) L + R:
L and R channel pair together
(2) C: Centre channel
(3) LF: LF channel
(4) LS + RS: LS and RS channel pair together
(7) Close:
Terminates the selection and returns you to
the previous layer
