Operation
6.1 - Quick start-up
This section describes a quick start-up procedure and a general description of what to do before starting a
large batch of samples to run through the system.
The Interrliner can only handle tubes with correct closed caps and correct labeling.
6.1.1 - Check list
Run this checklist before each large batch of samples.
1. Waste container (if applicable), should be empty.
2. Check the liquid levels.
3. Check if Starrsed Software is in NORMAL mode and not in SERVICE mode.
6.1.2 - Start-pool
Ensure that racks are correctly placed in the Start-Pool; the groove on the side of the rack must catch the
strip at the right side of the storage area.
Note
: Do not push racks manually against or away from the front end, as this will interfere with the
ejector mechanism.
6.1.3 - Power up sequence
▪
Check the In-pool, the conveyor-belt and the robotic unit for unblocked passageways. Racks may only
be present on the pool’s stainless steel storage areas. Check if the Robot hood is closed.
▪
Start sequence:
▪ Switch
ON
the ESR analyser unit.
▪ Switch
ON
the PC and the monitor.
▪ Wait until "Windows" is ready for use.
▪ Start the Starrsed software.
