5.4.4 Connecting the operator's stop input

Prerequisite:
n The mains cable is disconnected from the voltage supply.
1. Connect the BUS cable (Fig. 24/1) to the DATA interface on
the control unit.
2. Connect the exposed wires of the BUS cable to the opera-
tor's stop input switch between 12 VDC and sensor input 4 in
accordance with the following table:

3. Activate the "stop input" function Ä Page 195 .

The operator's stop input has been connected and acti-
vated.
If the stop input switch is actuated whilst a move-
ment is being performed, the drives stop as quickly
as possible.
If the stop input switch is deactivated Ä Page 195,
the drives can be moved again.
