3.2 Function description

The MultiControl II duo and MultiControl II quadro control units can

be used to position drives

+Krieger GmbH.

Two drives can be connected to the

MultiControl II duo

, and up to

four drives can be connected to the

MultiControl II quadro

A synchronisation bus (sync BUS) can be used to connect up to

eight control units with each other and thus synchronously position

a maximum of either 16 drives (

MultiControl II duo

) or 32 drives

(

MultiControl II quadro

) respectively.

Different variants of control unit can be used within a sync BUS

system. The BUS system is operated using a hand switch (Fig. 5)

connected to the master control unit.
