The operator must ensure that all persons who handle the con-
trol unit have read and understood these instructions. Further-
more, the operator must regularly train the staff and inform them
of the hazards. The operator must ensure that the staff have
been trained in compliance with the required staff qualifications.

The operator must provide the staff with the required protective
equipment and must issue the mandatory order to wear the
required protective equipment.
n
The operator must make sure that danger zones which arise
during assembly/installation, operation, troubleshooting, mainte-
nance and cleaning of the control unit are secured.
The operator is also responsible for ensuring that the control unit
and the location of use are in a technically perfect condition at all
times. Therefore, the following applies:

The operator must make sure that the required clearances and
sufficient lighting are available for safe working and make sure
that the control unit and the location of use are kept perma-
nently clean and tidy.

The operator must make sure that the maintenance intervals
described in these instructions are adhered to.

The operator must make sure that all work on the control unit is
carried out in a sufficiently air-conditioned room in which an
excessively hot or cold working environment is not expected.
2.5 FCC regulations
This device has been tested and meets the requirements for a
class B digital device as per Part 15 of the FCC regulations. These
limit values are configured so that they provide adequate protection
from detrimental interference in residential areas.
It is possible that this device will generate, use and possibly emit
high-frequency energy. If the device is not installed and used prop-
erly, this can lead to radio communication interference. However,
there is no guarantee that proper installation will prevent all inter-
ference.
By switching the device off and back on again, you can determine
whether it interferes with radio or television reception. If this is the
case, attempt to rectify the faults by taking one or more of the fol-
lowing measures:

Realign or relocate the receiving aerial.

Increase the distance between the device and the receiver.
n
Connect the device to a different electrical circuit from the
receiver.

Ask the dealer or an experienced radio/television technician for
help.
