Before standing the transformer up, release the bolt in the base
and then untie the head housing of the transformer.
2.
Attach the hook of the lifting gear to one of the two transport eyes
on the head housing.
3.
Secure the base against movement and only then bring the trans‐
former into the vertical position.

In order to move the transformer, attach one hook to each of the
two transport eyes on the head housing. Use a lifting beam so
that the cover of the expansion vessels is not damaged (Fig. 21).
5.
Lift the transformer always one at a time.
3.4.2 Storing the device
Please observe the following storage and transport conditions:
» The transformers must always be stored in a vertical position and
bolted to the base on which they are mounted, to prevent them
from falling over during storms or similar.
» If the transformers have to be stored in a horizontal position, they
must be stood up vertically at least 24 hours before commis‐
sioning.

3.5 Disposal
ENVIRONMENT
Dispose of the transformer in accordance with the regulations of
the country in which it is used:
» Dispose of the packaging materials correctly.
» Dispose of removable plastic and metal parts separately and
professionally.
» Dispose of the tranformer's oil in accordance with national,
regional and local waste disposal regulations.
