7.4 Maintaining the conductor holding tongs
◼ Clean the conductor holding tongs with a brush.
Additional monthly maintenance:
◼ Oil the conductor holding tongs at the pivot points (fig. 10, item 1) and at the
contact surfaces (fig. 10, item 2) of the rollers.
