Remarks 

After this function is enabled, when you send the :SAVE:IMAGe[:STARt] command to save the image file, a 

".txt" file with the same filename will also be saved. This file includes the model, serial number, hardware 

and software version number, as well as the current parameter configurations of the oscilloscope. 

 

Return Format 

The query returns 1 or 0.

Syntax 

:SAVE:SETup[:STARt] <file_spec> 

 

Description 

Saves the current parameter settings of the oscilloscope to the external memory in "*.stp" format.

Remarks 

 

If the specified storage location already contains a file with the same filename, the original file will be 

overwritten. 

 

DS4000E does not support running a command to save the setting file to the internal memory for now. 

If required, save the file by performing the save operation on the front panel of the oscilloscope.
