4.7 : VPX Fabric Specifications
The VP3500 uses VPX P1 fabrics A, B, C and D to form 4 PCIe FAT pipes capable of PCIe Gen 2
(Gen 1 compatible). This 4x4 configuration is the board’s default at power up. The configuration may
be user-configured to either a 1x16 or 8x8 by using the microcontroller. After modifying the VPX fabric
configuration a power cycle will set the VP3500 to the desired setting.
