4.9 : Ethernet Specifications
The VP3500 provides an integrated VITA 46.6 standard Gigabit Ethernet Switch. The VP3500 switch
includes five total GbE ports. Two of the five ports are VITA 46.6 auto-negotiating (10/100/1000) and are
configured as 1000BASE-T with on-board magnetics. The other two VITA 46.6 ports are configured as
1000BASE-BX for backplane applications. The remaining port is a third 1000BASE-T routed to P6 that
may be used as a maintenance port.
