The CPU (IC9201) and the USB-PHY (IC9602) are connected to the ULPI
(UTMI+Low Pin Interface) that conforms to the Interface Standard between the
USB controller (logical layer circuit) and the transceiver (physical layer circuit).
IC9602 operates with a clock signal of the quartz crystal oscillator (X9601). The
USB-HUB (IC9604) works with a quartz crystal oscillator (X9602) of 30MHz.
These signals are distributed to the two I/O systems of USB signals for the
external USB terminal and the wireless LAN unit terminal. By the way, the USB
signals conform to the USB2.0 Standard (High-Speed/Full-speed/Low-Speed).
VBUS (+5V power supply) of the USB terminal is controlled by the current
protection circuit of the Hi-Side SW (IC9605).
The wireless LAN becomes available for wireless communication with the PC
when an appropriate LAN unit is connected with the USB-A terminal (exclusive
for wireless LAN). In addition to PJ control, the use of appropriate software
makes it possible to display the PC images with the projector.
