RTC
The RTC (Real Time Clock) provides the functions to maintain month, day, and
time. It is used in conjunction with the program timer function and validity checks
for the network certificate.
Even when the PJ power supply is turned off, this feature is available with the
charges in the EDLC (C9669) in order to retain the time-based data. The
standard clock signal is maintained at 32.768lHz (X9604) and communication
with the CPU is made through the I
2
C bus.
