Plug & Play
The serial control terminal of Computer1/2 (D-SUB 15-pin) pins 12 and 15 is
connected to the Plug&Play IC [(IC2002) for Computer1 and (IC2001) for
Computer2] so that the projector can be detected at the PC.
The Plug&Play of this projector corresponds to DDC/2B and DDC/CI.
(Computer1 only)
The serial control terminal of HDMI terminal pins 15 and 16 is connected to the
HDMI receiver IC (built-in memory of IC1504) so that the projector can be
detected at the PC.
The write control feature of the Plug &Play IC is available according to the
High/Low condition of the PnP signal output from IC3001. (PnP =high when
writing is enabled.) This port is write-enabled only if the menu service mode is for
Service or Factory. Therefore, during factory production or when Plug&Play data
rewriting is carried out for servicing activities, it is necessary to carry out data
writing after the projector has been started and moved to the Service/Factory
mode.
For writing in the HDMI IC (IC1504), a specific tool is used for writing into IC1504
via IC3001.
