Tight Cell2 Block (Peripheral Functions)
The Tight Cell2 (IC3502) is a G/A circuit where various functions to be described
below are accommodated for fan control, key matrix, LED control, and others.
Tight Cell2 is controlled from IC3001 through the CPU bus. The functions
available are as specified below.
¾
Fan control (3~5 systems)
The number of revolutions is detected based on the revolution pulse signal (2
pulses per revolution) that is output from the fan. In this manner, the number of
revolutions is independently controlled for each fan so that each part is controlled
to an optimal temperature in conjunction with the temperature that is detected by
each temperature sensor.
¾
Detection of the number of revolutions: IC3502
¾
Detection of temperature: Slow ADC of IC3001
¾
Control of revolutions: Slow DAC of IC3001
Key matrix control
¾
The respective keys are arranged in a 4 x 3 matrix that is periodically
monitored by the CPU.
General-purpose I/O port
¾
Used to control the lighting of each LED and each IC.
UART control
¾
The power setup for the lamps and the acquisition of operating conditions
are carried out.
3-wire serial
¾
Used for device control in the LCD driver system.
