Causes
Solutions
The lamp turned off during
operation.
Duration of the lamp used:
• 0 to 100 hours: Flashes
in 5-second intervals.
• 101 to 1,000 hours:
Turns on.
• 1,001 hours or longer:
Flashes in 7-second
intervals.
• The lamp's service life has
expired.
• The projector has
malfunctioned.
• Disconnect the power cord,
wait a while, and then turn
on the projector again.
You can also press and hold
the [Power] button on the
remote control or the control
panel for two seconds.
• If the lamp burns out, replace
it with a new lamp. For
details of how to replace the
lamp, see page 141
"Replacing the Lamp".
The lamp does not turn on,
turned off during operation,
or it does not turn off.
Flashing interval: 0.2
seconds
The projector has malfunctioned.
• Disconnect the power cord,
wait a while, and then turn
on the projector again.
You can also press and hold
the [Power] button on the
remote control or the control
panel for two seconds.
• If the problem cannot be
resolved, contact your
service representative.
The lamp turned off during
operation, or it does not turn
on.
Flashing interval: 1 second
The lamp cover is not installed
correctly.
Disconnect the power cord, and
reinstall the lamp cover correctly.
