In the following cases, the machine uses normal memory transmission even if
parallel memory transmission is enabled.
•
Send later
•
Broadcasting
•
Transmission of an Auto Document only
•
Transfer request
•
If the other terminal is busy
•
When remaining memory space is less than the threshold
(default setting: 256 kB)
Using G4 transmission, parallel memory transmission is normally disabled because
the transmission speed is much faster than the scanning speed.
However, if the document contains pages with complicated images or when
sending a photo document using halftone, using parallel memory transmission may
be faster than normal memory transmission.
If the user commonly sends this type of fax messages, enable parallel memory
transmission for G4 transmission by changing system bit switch 11, bit7 to “1.”
