13.7 Channel Spacing UHF / VHF Air Band
The frequency input has to be performed according to ICAO Annex 10 Volume V clause
4.1.2.4 table 4.1. Please note that it is possible to work on channel spacing: 8.33 as well as
25 kHz. This is necessary because channel spacing 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz exist at the same
time. Inside the receiver, the signal filtering is switched in accordance to the selected channel
spacing.
The input scheme according to ICAO Annex 10 Volume V clause 4.1.2.4 table 4.1 is
illustrated by the following example:
