chapter 09. Programming, which is intended to list and describe the
actions necessary to program the machine parameters includes the
correct information for the Barista Light software; some slight
differences depend upon the different internal architecture of the
two machines, since Barista Light has got one single boiler to
dispense all selections, i.e. espresso and instant ones;
the chapter “temperature” includes a variable intended to
determine the boiler water temperature with the options “first
coffee definition” and “heating time”, whose functions are
explained later on;
use keys “4” and “5” to change the boiler temperature;
press “2” to display:
to establish after how many minutes after the espresso last
dispensed to activate the following parameter;
to establish the power on time of the boiler heating element to
increase the water temperature before the activation of the
dispensing pump;
the “deinstallation” variable is included in the chapter
“miscellaneous”
to empty water circuits automatically:
- detach the water supply, insert an extension into the drain hose
of the boiler, arrange it near a bucket and press “4”;
- open the drain tap of the boiler and press “5”;
