Pressure Multicooker RMC-M110E
“Reheat” Function
The function allows reheating the dish up to 60–80°С and maintaining the
temperature for up to 8 hours:
1.
Fill the inner removable bowl with food and position it inside the device.
The bowl must make full contact with the heating element.
2. Close and lock the lid. Set the steam release valve to “HIGH PRESSURE”
position and plug in the unit.
3. Press “REHEAT/CANCEL” button. Button indicator lights up, the device starts
counting up “Reheat” time in 1 hour increments.
4. Press “REHEAT/CANCEL” button to disable “Reheat” function (button indi-
cator goes off).
Safety Features
Pressure Multicooker REDMOND RMC-M110E features multilevel safety protec-
tion system. In case pressure or temperature inside cooking chamber exceed
safety limits during pressure cooking, heating element stops its operation and
resumes it only when the pressure and temperature are back to normal. If this
does not happen within a certain period of time the device automatically
switches off.
Pressure Multicooker is also equipped with an additional overheat protection
in “FRY” and “POPCORN” modes. If the temperature exceeds safety limits, the
device stops its operation to cool down (for approximately 15 minutes) before
you can restart one of the two modes. When you see “HH” displayed after trying
to restart “FRY” or “POPCORN” modes, this indicates that the temperature inside
the chamber is still too high and the cooking mode cannot be activated. This
feature does not apply to other automatic cooking modes.
Pressure Cooking
Closed position of the steam valve seals the cooking chamber where high
pressure is being maintained throughout the whole cooking process. Water
comes to a full boil at a temperature above 100°C which reduces cooking time
by half and helps to retain mineral and vitamin content of the products cooked.
General Pressure Cooking Guidelines:
•
Pressure multicooker bowl must be always filled with water or any other
cooking liquid (at least 2 measuring cups).
•
Do not fry foods with oil under pressure. Instead, sauté chopped vegetables
with an open lid using a small amount of oil or stock in “FRY” mode, add
the rest of ingredients, liquid, close the lid, and only then start pressure
cooking.
•
The unit must never be filled with water and other ingredients more than
4/5 or less that 1/5 full. When cooking foods that can foam or expand
during cooking (spinach, rice, beans, pasta, etc.) – more than 3/5 full, to
prevent steam release valve from clogging.
Remember: failure to comply with these instructions may lead to malfunction!
Standard Operating Procedure for Automatic Cooking Modes
1. Measure ingredients according to the recipe and place them into the
cooking bowl.
2.
Properly position the bowl inside the device, ensuring that it makes full
contact with the heating element.
3. Turn steam valve regulator into the required position:
• “HIGH PRESSURE” — the unit functions as a pressure cooker (for the fol-
lowing groups of modes: “RICE/GRAIN”, “SOUP”, “BOIL”, “JAM/DESSERT”,
“PILAF”, “OATMEAL”, “BEANS”, “GAME”);
• “NORMAL PRESSURE” — the unit functions as a multicooker (for the fol-
lowing modes: “FRY”, “BAKE”, “POPCORN”).
4. Plug in the unit.
5. Press the corresponding button to select required cooking mode (group
of modes) and the type of product (for the groups of modes “STEW” and
“STEAM”). Button indicator lights up, the unit displays flashing digits in
-
dicating default cooking time value (cooking time does not include the
time required by the device to reach its operating temperature and pres-
sure).
6. Press “Cook time” button to select cooking time required (“FAST”, “NORMAL”,
“SLOW”).

To delay cooking press “Timer / Keep warm” button. Use “+” and “—” buttons
to set the time of delay (

).
8.
Few seconds after the settings have been entered display stops blinking
and selected cooking mode begins its operation. Time starts to count down
only after the unit reaches operating temperature and pressure required
by the cooking mode. The time does not count down in “POPCORN” mode.
9. Disable “Keep Warm” function in advance if required (
p. 6
).
10.
If you were pressure cooking, ensure to open the steam release valve and
release the pressure before opening the unit.
11. To cancel all settings or to interrupt cooking at any stage press “REHEAT/
CANCEL” button.
Rice and Other Grains (high pressure)
The group of automatic cooking modes “RICE/GRAIN” is recommended for
cooking rice and other grains. It offers 3 settings depending on the kind of
product, recipe, and cooking time your recipe requires. Default time is 12 min-
utes.
Do not fill the cooker with solid ingredients above the 2/5 mark on the inside
of the bowl.
Soups (high pressure)
The group of automatic cooking modes “SOUP” is recommended for cooking
various soups and broths. It offers 3 settings depending on the kind of product,
recipe, and the cooking time your recipe requires. Default time is 30 minutes.
Do not fill the cooker with foods and liquids above the maximum fill mark on
the inside of the bowl.
Boiled Dishes (high pressure)
The group of automatic cooking modes “BOIL” is recommended for cooking meat,
fish, vegetables, fruit purees, etc. It offers 3 settings depending on the kind of
product, recipe, and the cooking time your recipe requires. Default time is 20
minutes.
Do not fill the cooker with foods and liquids above the maximum fill mark on
the inside of the bowl.
Fried Dishes (normal pressure)
Automatic cooking mode “FRY” is recommended for cooking foods (meat, veg-
etables, poultry, seafood, etc.) under normal pressure with small amount of
cooking oil. Default time is 20 minutes. Use deep fry basket with a removable
handle provided to deep fry foods.
CAUTION! Do not close the lid of the device using “FRY” mode. If you have
accidentally closed and locked the lid causing the activation of the lid locking
mechanism, disabling you to control and monitor the process, interrupt cook-
ing. Wait for the device to cool down, open the lid, and resume cooking.
Jams and Desserts (high pressure)
The group of automatic cooking modes “JAM/DESSERT” is recommended for
cooking various jams and desserts. It offers 3 settings depending on the prod

uct, recipe, and the cooking time your recipe requires. Default time is 22 minutes.
Do not fill the cooker with foods and liquids above the maximum fill mark on
the inside of the bowl.
Rice Pilaf (high pressure)
The group of automatic cooking modes “PILAF” is recommended for cooking
rice pilafs. It offers 3 settings depending on the product, recipe, and the cook-
ing time your recipe requires. Default time is 20 minutes.
Do not fill the cooker with solid ingredients above the 3/5 mark on the inside
of the bowl.
Porridges (high pressure)
The group of automatic cooking modes “OATMEAL” is recommended for cooking
different porridges. It offers 3 settings depending on the product, recipe, and
the cooking time your recipe requires. Default time is 5 minutes.
Do not fill the cooker with foods and liquids above the 2/5 mark on the inside
of the bowl.
The mode is recommended for cooking various oat porridges using pasteurized
low fat milk.
For best results and in order to prevent milk from boiling away, we recommend
you to do the following:
•
rinse whole grain (rice, millet, barley, etc.) thoroughly until water runs
clear;
•
grease the sides of the bowl with butter;
•
follow proportions suggested in the recipe book, increase or reduce amount
of ingredients proportionately;
•
using whole milk dilute it by half with water.
The results may vary depending on the quality, manufacturer, and place of ori-
gin of the grains and milk used.
Legumes (high pressure)
The group of automatic cooking modes “BEANS” is recommended for cooking
beans, peas, lentils, and other legumes. It offers 3 settings depending on the
product, recipe, and the cooking time your recipe requires. Default time is 40
minutes.
Do not fill the cooker with solid ingredients above the 3/5 mark on the inside
of the bowl.
Baked and Roasted Dishes (normal pressure)
The group of automatic cooking modes “BAKE” is recommended for baking cakes,
pies, puddings, and for roasting meat, fish, and vegetables. It offers 3 settings
depending on the product, recipe, and the cooking time your recipe requires.
Default time is 30 minutes.
Do not fill the cooker with foods and liquids above the 2/5 mark on the inside
of the bowl.
Wild Game (high pressure)
The group of automatic cooking modes “GAME” is recommended for cooking
wild game (tough or large cuts of meat), and meat jelly. It offers 3 settings
depending on the product, recipe, and the cooking time your recipe requires.
Default time is 30 minutes.
Do not fill the cooker with solid ingredients above the 4/5 mark on the inside
of the bowl.
Popcorn (normal pressure)
Automatic cooking mode “POPCORN” is recommended for making popcorn.
1.
Place popcorn kernels into the bowl (unpacked, not more than 200g at a
time!).
2.
Position the bowl inside the device, ensuring full contact with the heating
element. Close and lock the lid.
3. Pull the steam valve regulator up to remove. Plug in the unit.
4.
Press “POPCORN” button. Button indicator lights up, few seconds later the
device displays heating progress bar indicator, selected cooking mode
starts operating. Cooking time does not count down in this mode.
5. When the cooking cycle is complete, pressure multicooker produces an
audible sound and displays “0000”.
6.
Wait until the popping sounds stop, open the lid, and remove the bowl
with popcorn.
CAUTION! The appliance becomes hot during operation! Be careful! Use oven
mitts when handling the unit.
Stewed Dishes (high pressure)
The group of automatic cooking modes “STEW” is recommended for stewing
foods. It offers 12 settings depending on the product, recipe, and the cooking
time your recipe requires. Default time depends on the product selected (“MEAT”,
“VEGETABLES”, “POULTRY”, “FISH”).
Do not fill the cooker with foods and liquids above the 4/5 mark on the inside
of the bowl.
