6 Magnetic Mount Assembly and Installation

This section provides procedures to properly install the T7 System antenna onto the vehicle’s
roof when not using a vehicle’s crossbars or side rails to secure the antenna.
6.1 Magnetic Mount Option
1. The magnetic mount is designed for vehicles with a smooth, flat, steel roof. This mount is NOT designed
for use with vehicles that have raised ridges (Figure 6-1).
2. Place the magnetic mount onto the antenna with the safety clip located next to the RF port on the
antenna (Figure 6-2). Ensure that the magnetic side of the mount is facing away from the antenna.

3. Secure the magnetic mount to the antenna using the 4 provided screws, washers, and lock washers (Figure 6-4).
