9 Audio & Video Cable Routing
This section offers a general explanation of proper routing of the audio and video (A/V) cables from the
receiver to the vehicle’s entertainment system.
9.1 Routing Cable
1. The T7 System is designed to integrate into the vehicle’s entertainment system through composite A/V
input jacks. Refer to manufacturer for removing ceiling monitors in the headliner, or for removal of headrest
monitors in seats.
2. Route the cable from the monitor to the receiver’s location (Figure 9-1). Use fish-tape to help get the
cables across the headliner, down pillars or under carpet.

3. Secure the cable within the vehicle and verify that the cable is protected from moving seats and that the
cable cannot be snagged.
4. Some vehicle entertainment systems may have A/V junction boxes located under the center console.
There may be A/V input jacks located on the outside of the center console, or in a hidden compartment in
the rear of the vehicle.
