5.2 Installing the Antenna
1. Place the antenna onto the vehicle’s roof with the RF port facing towards the crossbar or side rail (Figure 5-9).
2. The mount clamp is used to secure the antenna mount to the vehicle. Run the clamp around the bracket
support so that the screw head is facing away from the antenna and the rubber sleeve is below the crossbar
(Figure 5-10). There are 3 slots on the bracket support that allows for adjusting the clamp for smaller crossbars.

3. Insert the end of the clamp into the screw housing and begin tightening the clamp (Figure 5-11).
Tools and Installation:
Using an electric screwdriver can help to tighten the clamp
quickly; however, caution should be used while tightening.
Set the electric screwdriver to the lowest speed.
