5 Universal Mounting Bracket Installation
This section provides procedures of how to properly install the T7 antenna onto the vehicle’s roof when
using a roof rack or compatible side rails (Figure 5-1).

5.1 Assembling the Mount
1. Attach the rotating joints to the mount using the 5mm screw (Figure 5-1). Do not tighten the screw
completely. Ensure that the rotating joints can rotate around freely.
2. Attach the bracket supports to the rotating joint using a 5mm screw (Figure 5-2). Also, do not tighten
this screw completely. The bracket supports and rotating joints should be able to adjust to different positions.
Warning:
If utilizing the vehicle’s roof rack, verify that the rack is in
good condition and can support the antenna prior to installation

3. Place the antenna mount onto the roof of the vehicle with the bracket supports resting on top of the
vehicle’s crossbar or side rail (Figure 5-3).
Tools and Installation:
It is recommended to use a soft cloth under the magnetic
leg, while making adjustments to the mount, to protect the
vehicle’s paint.
