13.2 Programing the Remote
The remote control operates using RF. This allows the remote to be pointed anywhere within the vehicle to
control the receiver.
If the remote control is not working, it may need to be synchronized with the receiver. To complete this operation:
1. Turn the vehicle on. Make sure that the receiver is on. The
Switch Bypass
on the receiver should be in
the
OFF
position.
2. While inside the vehicle, press and hold down on the
Power
and
Mute
buttons simultaneously on the
remote control. This step must be completed immediately after powering on the receiver.
3. The
Power
button will flash twice and then go to a steady light. Release the buttons. The remote is now
synchronized with the receiver.
4. Verify that the remote is synchronized to the receiver by pressing any button on the remote. The yellow
SWDL indicator on the receiver will light up while pressing the remote contorl buttons.
