TROUBLESHOOTING
To aid the user in diagnosing the monitor, a special
diagnostic mode can be used displays critical, low level
parameters. Section 8.1 describes the operation of the
diagnostic mode. Section 8.2 summarizes the frequently
encountered problems and suggested solutions. By turning
on the MiniRAE 2000 monitor in diagnostic mode and by
using the troubleshooting table in Section 8.2, the user can
usually correct the problem without having to return the
monitor for repair.
WARNING: This function should be used by qualified
personnel only! The diagnostic mode allows the user to
set several low-level parameters that are very critical to
the operation of the monitor. Extra care should be
taken when setting these parameters. If the user is not
familiar with the function of these parameters and sets
them incorrectly, it may cause the monitor to shut
down or malfunction.
