Installation Instructions 2-3

Figure 2-2, Location of S1

To install the 2460 Series VXI Module in a C size VXI mainframe,
ensure that the it has the rear connector P1 oriented to mate with
the corresponding connector on the mainframe backplane. Align
the module with the guides for the slot selected, and slide the
module into the mainframe. Push the module home to connect it
to the mainframe. Secure the module to the mainframe with the
captive screws provided at the top and bottom edges of the front
panel.

Poor mechanical alignment of the module’s rear connectors, P1
and P2, may require that it be reseated in the VXI mainframe. Do
NOT use undue force to seat the module.
