Power Shear Does not Operate

1. To test the Shear actuator resistance, locate the
ISM mounted on the back of the wheelchair.
2.

Disconnect the 2 pin connector at actuator

port 1 (

g. 6.5.1)

Check for resistance at this harness,

normal resistance would be 6 to 8 ohms when the
actuator
is in mid-stroke and greater than 1 m ohms when
at
either extremity.
If you have veri

ed resistance at this connection,

Replace the ISM.

If your reading is open, re-test the resistance

at the 6 pin connection leading directly from the
shear actuator (
