Appendix D Repacking the Scalar 50 Library

Removing the Library from the Rack

Quantum Scalar 50 User’s Guide

218

Loosen the captive screw securing the power supplies to the
chassis and remove the power supplies from the back of the
library.

Remove Phillips screws securing each side of the chassis to the

rack mounting rails and remove two Allen screws securing both
clamps on the back of the library.

Remove the library from the rack.

Warning:

At least two people are required to move the library
chassis.
