The
Stack role
screen allows you to configure the library as a
“Master” or “Slave” in a multiple library stack. The library is
configured “Stand alone” by default. If this is a multiple library stack,
use the up and down arrows to highlight

displays the following information about the library:
Note:
All Scalar 50 libraries must have
FULL
capacity before
configuration as a stack is possible. PX502 libraries in a
stack are considered fully licensed. Configure each unit
that will be stacked as a stand alone unit and enable
Full
capacity through the remote management pages (see
on page 125). After full capacity is enabled, change
the stack role(s) accordingly to create the multiple library
stack.
