is set to 128, change the limit
to 9000 in
DSM_control

# ulimit -n 9000

Restart the StorNext file systems and
snpolicyd
after making
the changes in DSM_control:
# DSM_control restart
Note:
If you only changed
snpolicyd.conf,
just restart the
snpolicyd
process, by running:
# /usr/cvfs/bin/cvadmin -e "stopd snpolicyd"
# /usr/cvfs/bin/cvadmin -e "startd snpolicyd"

Configure snpolicy-managed policy:

From the left panel, click
Storage Policies
. The
Lattus Object
Storage
policy panel displays.

New.

In the
Lattus Object Storage
area, for the
Policy Class,
enter
objs_pol1.

For the
File System,
select
snfs.
