While still connected to the iDRAC port, log in to the Lattus A10
using
root
as the user name and
password
as the password.
Installing the Lattus A10 Service Utilities
Task:
In this task you will install the DSET, OpenManage, and MegaCLi
service utilities.
Complete the following steps:

Log in to the system. The root login and password are
root
and
password
respectively.

Change the directory location to the location of the Lattus A10
CentOS SW folder.

Create a local directory by running
mkdr /opt/A10
. This is the
directory into which you will copy files in the next steps.

Install the Dell Utilities file on the Lattus A10 access node. The TGZ
file contains the DSET and OpenManage utilities.

Untar the TGZ file:
# tar -zxvf dell-utilities-om-7.1.0-dset-3.2.141-1-
831.el6.x86_64.tgz

Change directories to the
dell-utilities
directory:
# cd dell-utilities

Install the Dell OpenManage and DSET software on the system:
sh install.sh

Change to the MegaCli directory:
cd ..

Copy the MegaCli64-2.0 binary to
/usr/sbin
on the Lattus A10.
