Step 4: Install and Configure Lattus A10 Software and NAS Services
Configuring objs.conf
Lattus A10 Access Node Installation Guide
43
Note:
You must create or import a Lattus Object Storage
security certificate prior to creating a Lattus Object
Storage Destination. The certificate applies to each
OBJS controller configured for HTTPS. If you intend to
use HTTP only, certificates are not needed.
To manage SSL certificates, choose
Lattus Certificates
from the
Tools
menu. For additional information, see
Appendix A, Basic Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Guidelines
in the
StorNext User's Guide
, which provides some
standard information about using private and public
certificates.
•
Manager Host:
Enter a valid string to specify the IP address or
host name of the Lattus Object Storage manager host.
•
Manager Port:
Enter a decimal integer to specify the port
number of the Lattus Object Storage manager GUI interface.
(Or, use the default port,
80
.) This is also the
manager_port
parameter in the
/usr/cvfs/config/objs.conf
file.
•
Access Hosts
: This field defines the private 10GbE network
connections between the A10 and the C10 Controller Nodes.
Enter the IP address for the first Lattus Controller Node's private
network port (10GbE port 6, 192.168.x.x), and then click
Add
.
Note:
If the Lattus A10 is connected through a Lattus
Interconnect Switch, the A10 will not be on the private
network.
Repeat this process for the second Lattus controller node's
private network port.
Because this step configures the back-end network, both private
IP addresses must be entered here to ensure full bandwidth
availability and failover capabilities in the event of a link failure.
(To remove an IP address, enter the IP address and then click
Delete
.)
•
First Access Port
: This is the first TCP port range of the
controller node's client daemons. The default is
8080
.
•
Last Access Port
: This is the last TCP port range of the controller
node's client daemons.
