LIMS Workflow
Important
: Before starting a run with the LIMS workflow, a specific application layer needs to be
created and set up for each protocol which will be run in your lab routinely. This application layer
contains all specific parameters of the respective protocol. During the LIMS connection set-up
service, ensure that you cover with the QIAGEN service person all protocols you intend to use, to
get the needed application layers created during this setup.

To begin set up of a protocol run using the LIMS interface, start at the
Setup
tab, then tap the
LIMS button.

Scan sample ID screen is displayed. Use preselected position and scan sample ID, or select a
new position and scan sample ID.
