Improper use of the EZ1 Advanced XL may cause personal injuries or
damage to the instrument.

Samples containing infectious agents
Some samples used with this instrument may contain infectious agents. Handle
such samples with the greatest of care and in accordance with the required
safety regulations.
Some chemicals used with the EZ1 Advanced XL instrument may be hazardous
or may become hazardous after completion of a purification.
Always wear safety glasses, gloves and a lab coat.
Venting for fumes and disposal of wastes must be in accordance with all
national, state, and local health and safety regulations and laws.
If working with potentially infectious materials, such as human blood, serum, or plasma, the EZ1
Advanced XL system should be decontaminated after use (Section 6.4, page 83).
After running a protocol, clean the piercing unit of the pipettor head:
1.
Remove sample-preparation waste, and discard according to your local safety regulations.

Close the EZ1 Advanced XL door.
