If the report file could not be transmitted (e.g., if the serial connection is broken), the report will
remain stored on the EZ1 Advanced XL. After connection is reestablished, use the manual transmit
function to resend the report file (see Section 5.8.4, page 61).
Up to 10 report files can be stored temporarily on the EZ1 Advanced XL. When additional files are
stored, the oldest report files will be deleted. The following screen appears.

Using the EZ1 Advanced Communicator software
EZ1 Advanced Communicator is a software program that runs on a PC. The software receives the
report file and stores it in a folder that you define. After the PC has received the report file, you can
use and process the file with a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) or other
programs.
Note
: EZ1 Advanced Communicator software can be used with both the EZ1 Advanced XL
instrument and the EZ1 Advanced instrument.

User interface
The main window shows the list of report files received. Click the
Refresh list
button to update the
list.
Select a file by single-clicking on the name. The software will perform a checksum test on the file.

Validity check result
