In the main menu, press

to select the UV light function. The following screen appears.
Decontamination
Set Time: 30 min.
Key: 0-9
ENT: Next ESC: Abort

Use the keys
0
through
9
to set the duration of the decontamination time. The minimum time is
20 minutes, and the maximum time is 60 minutes. The default is 30 minutes. (Pressing
ESC
will
cancel the procedure and return you to the main menu.)

After setting a valid time, press the
ENT
key. The following menu appears.
UV Decontamination
Time: 30 min.
START: Run
ESC: Back
If you enter an invalid decontamination time (<20 minutes or >60 minutes), the following
screen will appear.

between 20–60 min
ESC: Back

After entering a valid time, press
START
to switch on the UV lamp.
The worktable will move slowly back and forth under the UV light. During the UV run, the
following screen appears.
UV Decontamination
Total time: TT min
Time left: LL min
STOP: Abort
TT
indicates the total time (in minutes), and
LL
indicates the amount of time left.

At the end of the run, the following screen appears.

For user safety, the UV lamp cools for approximately 3 minutes. The EZ1 Advanced XL door cannot
be opened until after the cooling time has elapsed. After cooling, the main menu appears.
