5.9 Test function
Press 3 in the main menu to select the test function.

Press 1 in the test screen to choose the “Axis” operation.

The following test procedures will be carried out by the EZ1 Advanced XL.

Move modules to their home positions.

Pick up tip 2 and release it.

Pick up tip 1 and move it to sample position and Proc 1 position.

Move the magnet unit to “narrow” position and then return to home.

Aspirate and dispense to test the pipetting unit.

Move to Proc 2–Proc 11 positions (see figure below).

Move to elution position.

Release tip 1.
