A 14 - PROTECTION MEASURES FOR DANGEROUS MACHINE AREAS
The machine is equipped with a casing, preventing
access to internal part of machine, together with
moving parts.
Above casing is fixed with screws.
Casing (fixed with screws) may only be removed
by qualified personnel, and authorized by Promag.
Manual access to cock outlet is very difficult and
nevertheless only possible with a tool.
Manual access to cylinder outlet with cock
disassembled is very difficult and nevertheless
only possible with the aid of a tool.
Access to emulsioner and mixer shafts is possible
only by lifting the front and/or rear half-lid.
With above operation, the two safety magnetic
microswitches (
63
) will interrupt all machine
operations, stopping rotation motion of same.
During cleaning phase of two shafts (emulsioner
and mixer), the rear half-lid is lifted.
It is impossible for same to fall backwards, thereby
crushing hands or upper limbs of operator, as the
centre of gravity is externally orientated.
About this, one should say that the opening of the
rear half-cover (operation that must be made only
by an EXPERT), has been projected to have a 30°
angle between the mixing shafts an the machine
plane.
A consequence of this angle is the fact that even
after applying 10 Kg in a direction prependicular
to the machine plane, the half-cover remains open,
with the barycentre at the exterior of the rear side
of the machine. We have estimed that the values
of 30° and, as a consequence 10 Kg, are
absolutely safe for the user and the technician -
installer.
To overcome the 10 Kg resistence, the movement
shall be completely intentional.
Anyway, we put you off to the A15, for the remaining
risks.
