9.3.6 Considering the messages in the LaserDiagnosticsSoftware LDS during measurement
If problems occur during a measurement, the LaserDiagnosticsSoftware LDS displays them in different cat-
egories and different colors.
Notes
Notes provide assistance in interpreting
the measurement results and are dis-
played in a blue window.
Use one of the following options:
X Click on the warning triangle in the
footer to display / hide the window.
X If applicable, click the Next message
button to display more messages of
the same category.
X Click the Confirm button to remove
the displayed message.
Warnings
Non-safety-critical problems that influence
the quality of the measurement results,
for example, are displayed in a yellow
window.
Use one of the following options:
X
Click on the warning triangle in the
footer to display / hide the window.
X
If applicable, click the
Next message
button to display more messages of
the same category.
X
Click the
Confirm
button to remove
the displayed message.
Safety critical device errors
Safety-critical problems that can result in
damage / destruction of the device are
displayed in a red window.
In this case, proceed as follows:
1. Fix the problem immediately.
2. Click the Confirm button to remove
the message.
The message disappears. If the prob-
lem is not fixed, then the message
appears again shortly afterwards.
3. Do not proceed with the measure-
ment until the problem is solved.
