Working on slopes
Working on slopes
WARNINg
Risk of serious injury or injury resulting in death
due to the tractor/trailer combination tipping on
slopes, particularly in transport position and driving
on bends.
•
Reduce general speed accordingly, espe-
cially when cornering.
•
Drive backwards on the slope rather than
carry out a risky turning manoeuvre.
The tractor's driving characteristics are influenced by the
weight (G) of the rotor unit This can lead to dangerous
situations, especially on inclines.

Folding on slopes
WARNINg
Risk of serious injury or injury resulting in death
when folding out on the slope
•
If possible, avoid carrying out folding proce-
dures on the slope!
•
Only carry out folding procedures on the
slope if the device is aligned at a 90° angle
to the slope.
•
Lowering procedures on the slope should
always be carried out in one go! If lower-
ing is interrupted, undefined movements
may occur in the rotor which can cause the
device to tip.
The driving characteristics of the tractor are influenced by
the weight (G) of the rotor unit. This can lead to dangerous
situations, especially on slopes.
If the alignment of the device at a 90° angle to the slope
does not function either:
•
Begin with the rotor unit facing up the slope
when folding out.
•
Begin with the rotor unit facing down the
slope when folding up.
