Change liquid grease:
1. Interval:
if needed
TIP
Only change the grease when the oil is at operating
temperature.
Draining the grease takes about 3-4h. Maybe do this
overnight or suck it away.
2. Implementation:
1. Bring the machine to transport position
2. Open the drain plug (2)

3. Drain the liquid grease.
4. Close the drain plug (2)
5. Continue as in section "Filling with Liquid Grease"
DANgER
Danger to life - when entering the danger area around
the rotor.
Only enter the danger area when there is no other option.
Beforehand, make sure that
•
the tractor's engine is switched off and the
tractor's key has been removed
•
the ball cock of the single-acting hydraulic
system is closed.
•
the rotor arms are in working position and
the rotors are stationary.
•
the combi-machine is secured against
rolling.
3. Grease quantities:
Indicative quantities after the complete emptying of the
rotor unit:
TOP 842 C
~1.20 kg Mobilplex 44
TOP 962 C
~1.20 kg Mobilplex 44
In principle, the same procedure as for "Complete Liquid
grease": Fill by eye and aspirate the excess grease.
Spring tines
Check the fixing screws (Z1-Z4) of the spring tines after
the first 10 operating hours and tighten them if necessary
(torque: 100 Nm).
The tines of the outer tine pair are shorter and stronger.
The machine is equipped with a tine-loss security system.
This means that both outside tine pairs (Z1, Z2) are
interlinked. To change the outside tine pair (Z1), the screw
of the second tine pair (Z2) must also be removed.

Disposal of old equipment
Take service-life expired equipment to a legally regulated
waste material recycling centre.
