Danger to life due to statutory transport heights being
exceeded during folding procedures.
•
The rotor arms are raised to over 4m when
folding up and down.
Make sure that the entire swivel area of the
rotor arms is free and that no power lines or
other obstacles are present in the danger
area.
TIP
•
When the TOP 962 C is in the transport
position, the tine arms must always be re-
moved in order to conform with the statutory
transport height.
•
On the TOP 842 C, the tine arms can be
removed if a transport height of 3.60m is to
be achieved.
•
Carry out transport height reduction before
raising the rotor. (see chapter "Reducing the
transport height")
•
With the TOP 882 C, it is not possible to
reduce the transport height due to the rigid
protection.
Tine arm holder operation
1. Release the lock by pulling the handle (3) of the
latch backwards (a) in the direction of travel and
then towards the body (b).

2. Insert the tine arm, as shown in the illustration, or
remove it.
3. Push the sliding bolt (3) back - in the direction of
machine centre (b). The locking device engages in
the slot and the tine arms are secured.
Driving on public roads
- Observe the official regulations of your state/country.
- Before travelling anywhere,visually inspect the chassis!
- Driving on public roads may only be performed as
described in the chapter "Transport position".
- Protective devices must be attached and in orderly
condition.
- Before setting off, bring all swivelling parts into their
correct positions and secure against dangerous position
changes.
- Check the lights before setting off.
- Place protective covers on the spring tines facing
outwards.
