9. Support the PEEBD1206cylinder with one hand, and slowly turn the supply cylinder
valve Control Knob counterclockwise to open and begin filling. As the
PEEBD1206cylinder begins to fill, make sure the pressure indicator (dial gauge) shows
that the cylinder is filling properly.
10. When at least two minutes haselapsed, and air can no longer be heard flowing from the
supply cylinder into the PEEBD1206, turn the supply dive cylinder valve completely
open.
11. To conserve the limited air supply of the PEEBD1206, perform a pre-issue inspection
of the 2
nd
Stage Regulator purge while it is connected to the supply cylinder as follows:
a. Depress the purge button to ensure that sufficient airflow is provided to clear the 2
nd
Stage Regulator of any water.
