Inspection &Service
1. A PEEBD stored in an environmentally controlled facility, shall notbe
considered to be ingood working order since it was last serviced. It is recommended
that the PEEBD receive an Annual Inspection every 12-months by an OEM Approved
Inspection facility.
2.
If the PEEBDis used regularly for training purposes in saltwater, chlorinated,
or silted fresh water, the PEEBD will require an OEM Approved Inspectionevery
three-months, or whenever it is suspected that moisture has entered the system. The
PEEBD should receive a visual inspection prior to each use by a trained/authorised
person, and if any fault is located within the system, removed from service and receive a
complete inspection.
3.
Use in chlorinated swimming pool waterwill accelerate the deterioration of
most rubber component and require more frequent service.
4. Unauthorized dis-assembly or inspection of the PEEBD is not allowed. All
Inspections of the PEEBD shall be conducted by an OEM Approved Inspection Facility
andor authorized personnel
