To set the "Skippable" settings, do the following: 

 

•

Press the Menu key. 

•

Use the Left or Right key to select "Playback settings" and press the Enter key. 

•

Use the Left or Right key to select "Skippable" and press the Enter key. 

•

Use the Left or Right key to select "Skip" or "Play" for each Skippable item and press 

the Enter key to confirm. After deciding all the Skippable items to be skipped or not, 

PLEXTALK will confirm that your selections have been set. 

 

23.4. Deleting authorization keys 

 
To delete all authorization keys that have been registered on PLEXTALK, do the following: 
 

•

Press the Menu key. 

•

Use the Left or Right key to select "System settings" and press the Enter key. 

•

Use the Left or Right key to select "Delete authorization keys" and press the Enter 

key. 

•

PLEXTALK will ask you to confirm that you wish to continue with the process. Press 

[1234] by number keys and press the Enter key to delete the keys. 

 
Note: You need to press 1, 2, 3, and 4 in this exact order. 
Note: "Authorization keys" are keys to play the DAISY books that are protected by PDTB 

format. PDTB is a digital encryption technology that is formulated by DAISY consortium. 
 

23.5. Reset PLEXTALK to factory defaults 

 
To reset all settings back to the factory defaults, do the following: 
 

•

Press the Menu key once to access the Main Menu. 

•

Use the Left or Right key to select "System settings" and press the Enter key. 

•

Use the Left or Right key to select "Initialize all settings to default" and press the 

Enter key. 

•

PLEXTALK will ask you to confirm that you wish to proceed. Press the Enter key to 

set all settings to factory defaults or the Cancel key to abort. After a short while, 

PLEXTALK will restart.
