13.3. Cancelling a heading setting after recording

To cancel a heading after completing the recording, do the following:

•

Navigate to the location of the heading you wish to cancel.

•

During playback or when the playback is stopped, press the Menu key once to

access the Main Menu.

•

Use the Left or Right key to go to the "Edit" option and select it by pressing the Enter

key.

•

Use the Left or Right key to go to the "Cancel heading" option and select it by

pressing the Enter key.

•

PLEXTALK will then ask you to confirm the cancellation of the specified heading. If

you wish to cancel this heading, press the Enter key. PLEXTALK will confirm that the
heading has been cancelled.

Note: Remaining headings will be renumbered automatically from the beginning.

13.4. Removing a section or multiple sections

PLEXTALK enables you to remove one or more sections from a DAISY title. Do this as

follows:

•

Navigate to the title from which you want to remove one or more sections.

•

Move back or forward in the title to the approximate position of the first section you

wish to remove.

•

Press the Menu key once to access the Main Menu.

•

Use the Left or Right key to go to the "Edit" option and select it by pressing the Enter

key.

•

Use the Left or Right key to go to the "Remove section" option and select it by

pressing the Enter key.

•

PLEXTALK will now ask you to select the first section to be removed. Use the Left or

Right key to move back or forward in the title until you hear the section and select it

by pressing the Enter key.

•

PLEXTALK will now ask you to select the last section that you want to remove. Use

the Left or Right key to move back or forward in the title until you hear the section and

select it by pressing the Enter key.
