On the left edge of the unit, roughly level with the Record key, there is a slot for the SD
card.
2.3.4. Right edge
On the right edge of the unit, there are 2 switches. The upper switch is for increasing and
decreasing the volume. Pushing the switch towards the top of the unit, increases the
volume. Pulling the switch towards the bottom of the unit, decreases the volume.
The lower switch is the Key Lock key. This is to prevent accidental activation of any other
key, including the Power key. Pushing the switch toward the top of the unit locks all keys.
Pulling the switch toward the bottom of the unit releases the lock.
2.3.5. Bottom edge
There are 2 items on the bottom edge of the unit. On the left is a small round hole in a
square-shaped housing. This is the DC input terminal. On the right is a slightly smaller
rectangular slot. This is the USB socket.
2.3.6. Back face
Carefully turn over your PLEXTALK and hold it face down in one hand, keeping the end
with the grill away from you.
In the center of the Back face, there are 2 raised ridges. These are at the top end of the
battery cover. Towards the bottom edge of the unit, but still on the Back face, there is a
rectangular button which is flush with the surface. This button is at the bottom edge of the
battery cover and is used to release the cover.
To remove the battery cover, press down firmly on the rectangular button with the tip of a
finger. At the same time, use the thumb of your other hand, on the 2 ridges, to slide the
battery cover towards the bottom edge of the unit. It should release fairly easily but you
may need to practice a couple of times to master the technique.
